Data Deletion Instructions

Delete through WhatsApp

This is the fastest method because the request arrives from the WhatsApp identity associated with the participant account. Do not send DELETE if you only want to stop reminders; use PAUSE instead. Use STOP if you only want to opt out of messages.

1. Open the WhatsApp conversation with the Fitness Assist business number you used for the service.
2. Send the single word DELETE.
3. Fitness Assist will show a confirmation prompt. Confirm the prompt to permanently delete the participant profile and associated participant records.
4. Fitness Assist will send a final message after the deletion is complete.

Request deletion by email

We aim to complete verified email requests within 30 days, unless applicable law requires or permits a different period. Never send a password, access token, or trainer administrative key.

1. Email the address below with the subject “Fitness Assist data deletion request”.
2. Provide the WhatsApp number used with Fitness Assist, including the country code, and the name of your trainer or organization if known.
3. We may ask for limited additional verification to prevent deletion of another person's account.

What is deleted

• The participant profile and organization or trainer assignment.
• Consent and trainer-sharing status linked to the participant.
• Stored message content and participant tracking records linked to the participant.
• Participant reminders and pending participant-specific work, except the minimum information temporarily needed to deliver the deletion confirmation.

Limited exceptions

Some minimal records may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or backup recovery. Such records are restricted, are not used for wellness tracking or marketing, and are removed or anonymized when no longer required.

Aggregated or irreversibly anonymized statistics that no longer identify the participant may remain.

Other controls

• PRIVATE — stop sharing selected statistics with the assigned trainer without deleting your tracking account.
• STOP — opt out of WhatsApp messages without deleting your records.
• PAUSE — pause reminders while continuing to use tracking features.
